3. Intercultural Awareness

Intercultural Communication is when a message produced inside one culture is received inside another culture. In addition to the language constraints (sometimes) involved, virtually everything can have different meanings in another culture: words, symbols, gestures, glances, postures, dress, proximity, everything…. Therefore, the aspect of culture can not be overlooked in communication across languages!

The Intercultural Awareness section includes:

Introduction to cross-cultural communication: Text
